These terms apply to the SilverCare iOS app and this website. By creating an account, you agree to them.
About the service
SilverCare is a tracking and reminder tool for taking medication and coordinating family care. The app is not a medical device; it does not diagnose, treat, or replace the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.
Not an emergency service
The SOS button sends an alert with your location to the caregivers in your care circle. It does not call 115/911 or contact any emergency service. In a medical emergency, always call your local emergency number first.
Reliability & your responsibility
Reminders depend on your device's notification settings, battery, and network. The app schedules an offline backup reminder on the device, but no system is perfect — do not rely solely on the app for critical doses. Always follow the instructions of your healthcare professional.
Account & care circle
You must be an adult to create an account. Keep your sign-in details safe: you are responsible for activity on your account and for whom you invite into your care circle. Only invite people you trust — circle members can see the circle's health data.
Free service & fair use
The core service — medication reminders and missed-dose alerts for one older adult and up to three caregivers — is free and will remain free. We may offer optional paid features later. Reasonable technical limits apply to prevent abuse of the service.
Termination
You can stop using SilverCare and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or harm other users.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
SilverCare is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from missed or delayed reminders, incorrect data entered by users, or service interruptions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use SilverCare after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
